At Meltrons we also provide Load cell conditioners also known as amplifiers are used to convert the load cell electrical signal to a more usable signal to allow connection to other devices or instrumentation such as PLCs.
These load cell conditioners work great in applications where the weighing system is controlled by a computer or PLC. Once supplied with the appropriate power, these devices provide a regulated excitation voltage to the load cells, and convert the load cell’s small mV signal into more common signals like 0-10VDC, 4-20mA, RS232 and RS485. Our range of load cell signal conditioners / load cell amplifiers offer a variety of accuracy and frequency response levels.
